HI, I'M ALONA.
I want to make the upside down world as comfortable and light as it can possibly be for you. Over the years, I have developed different teaching methods, but I keep coming back to the same thing: we, the humans, make being on our hands much more difficult than it actually is.
Allow me to let you in on my handstand wisdom and guide you to get upside down in a way that will actually work for you.
I started training handstands when I was only 6 years old, so it is something that feels second-nature to me. My performance career started in 2001 and since then I have been touring with different shows like “Varekai” and “Joya” by “Cirque du Soleil”, all over the world.

What to Expect from the Program:
The exercises in the Beyond Balance: A 28-Day Handstand Discovery Program, are designed to guide intermediate practitioners through common challenges, conquer the fear of inversion, build upper body strength, and perfect hand placement with a systematic approach.

Strengthening & Stability.
In week one, we'll focus on enhancing your foundational skills with advanced exercises. Dive into complex hand balancing techniques, refine hand placement, and optimize weight distribution. Our daily videos will guide you through strengthening your core and increasing stability, setting a solid base for intermediate-level handstands.
Mastering Transitions.
Week two is all about mastering transitions. Learn how to smoothly move between different handstand positions and incorporate dynamic movements. Practice advanced entries and exits, refine your alignment, and enhance your balance. Daily challenges will push your boundaries and build your confidence in transitioning seamlessly.
Advanced Balance & Control.
Refine your technique further in week three by focusing on advanced balance and control. Explore one-arm handstand drills, press to handstand techniques, and complex balancing challenges. Strengthen your core and increase flexibility with targeted exercises, ensuring you have the control needed for sophisticated handstand variations.
Integrating & Perfecting.
In our final week, we integrate all the skills you've developed. Focus on perfecting your freestanding handstands, incorporating advanced transitions, and exploring creative variations. Overcome challenges with guided support, craft a personalized handstand routine, and showcase your mastery. By the end of this week, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of intermediate-level hand balancing.
