HI, I'M ALONA
I started training handstands when I was only 6 years old, so this is something that feels natural to me. My performance career started in 2001 and since then I have been touring with different shows like “Varekai” and “Joya” by “Cirque du Soleil”, all over the world. During the past 5 years I’ve had years of discovering different teaching methods and realised that we, the humans, make the handstand much more difficult than it actually is. So now my purpose has become to make the upside down world as comfortable and light as it possibly can be.

The exercises in the Beyond Balance: A 28-Day Handstand Discovery Program, are designed to guide beginners through common challenges, conquer the fear of inversion, build upper body strength, and perfect hand placement with a systematic approach.

In week two we'll take your skills to new heights. Take your first steps towards freestanding handstands. Master kicking up, understand alignment, and find your balance away from the wall. Daily challenges build confidence, preparing you for the exciting world of unsupported handstands.
Fine-Tuning Your Skills
Refine your technique in Week 3 with advanced entries, press to handstand preparations, and engaging balancing challenges. Strengthen your core, enhance flexibility, and explore entry techniques, setting the stage for more controlled handstands.
Mastering Transitions
In week four, we combine lessons from the past three weeks. Master the intricacies of a perfect freestanding handstand, and explore transitions. Overcome challenges, incorporate creative variations, and craft your personalized routine, showcasing your newfound skills.
